MY LITTLE BUG IS HOME!!

Avery was released today from the hospital. She's not completely back to herself but she is definitely on the mend. She is a little irritable but much better than she has been over the past couple of days.
We will see the Pediatrician next week for a follow up appointment, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that he will take us on as new patients. From the first time we met him I was so impressed with his knowledge and compassion for children. Both Brian and I were also impressed with how he spoke to us about what was going on with Avery. Complete opposite from how I feel about our present Ped. Just a little bit of good bedside manner can go such a long way.

So after a long nap this afternoon, Avery had a pretty good dinner. She ate much more than she had over the past three days in the hospital. After dinner we put on the movie "Happy Feet" and right away she started dancing around, smiling, and laughing. It is so good to have our little bug back.

Olivia was very happy to have her sister back as well. Right before bed they managed to get a little bit of playful wrestling in. Something they do every night before they go to bed. And of course the night would not be complete without a push and a shove and someone crying. I guess that's a good thing.

I'm SO happy to see that Avery is home! We're all hoping that she's back to herself in no time. Mimi and Coco are really looking forward to seeing Avey and Ollie again very soon - they want me to show them pictures of the girls all the time!
Take care, Angela

I am so happy Avery is home. I feel bad I didn't even realize she was in the hospital until I read up on your last few posts.
I hope the cream works and that this issue is resolved.

I am so happy to hear that Avery is home! I am wondering if the ped you are talking about is Ashton's??? He is an AMAZING man! Is it Promnitz?

I am so glad to hear that she is home safe and sound.

I can't imagine having one baby in the hospital and one at home.

You must have had NICU flashbacks!

The prematurity issue definitely comes up constantly. You think that they are doing well and it's all behind you, then something happens to remind you all over again.

I'm so sorry to hear Avery was in the hospital. Just when you start to relax, something happens that gets you worried all over again. Hopefully things get better from here on in.

Take Care,
Vickie
