3 Year Check up!
Yesterday the girl's had their 3 year check up with the Pediatrician. I had many questions for him but only seemed to either get no or very vague answers regarding their health. So after this appointment I have decided that they will no longer be seeing the Ped. Instead I will be taking them to my own doctor for future appointments. This guy is amazing! He is young, knows his stuff and was also a graduate from Mac, so he has some experience working with preemies. The nice thing about him as well is that if he doesn't know something he searches for the answers. He doesn't just tell you to wait it out and send you on your way.
The only thing I have to report on from yesterday is Avery now weighs 29 pounds and is 38 inches tall. She is now in the 50th percentile for weight and 95th percentile for height in kids her age. Olivia weighed in at 28 pounds and is 37 inches tall. She is now in the 25th percentile for weight and 50th for height.
Their getting big!

Hi Shannon, I stumbled across your blog and had to leave a comment! Your Olivia and Avery are so beautiful! I have an Olivia (age 3) and one of my best friends has an Avery (5 today). My Olivia went through a period of time that was scary (age 2) and she was very little (weight-wise) and I know that when we got to her 3 year appointment and the dr said she was in the 50th% isn't that just music to our ears!!!!

God Bless,
Stacey

Wow, they are getting big!!!!! I am sorry that you aren't having any luck with the ped...I kinda know how you feel. He is GREAT with Ashton but I never feel like we get any answers either and that isn't good for me.

Anyways, we really need to get together soon!!!!
